This special shoot really tugged on my heartstrings. My very first photography studio was in Landry’s mom’s salon. She was always so supportive of my passion and business, and she never failed to encourage me on my hardest days. I deeply appreciate her patience and willingness to help me along the way.
Now, I can’t believe her youngest girl Landry is turning two! It was an honor to be able to do this adorable milestone mini session for her. When they came into the studio, little Landry was dressed in a precious soft pink dress and matching crown while her older sister was decked out in a bold Wonder Woman costume. And you can’t forget the rain boots – you know, in case fighting villains requires trekking through mud. I love how accurately these two different outfits portrayed their personalities. Both are cute as a button, and while one is ready to wave her wand and eat some frosting, the other is skipping off trying to save the world!
We did a few photos of the two sisters together. Their personalities complement each other so well, and for the most part, they really are the best of friends. I have loved watching their relationship deepen as they grow older.
Then it was time for the birthday girl’s glamour shoot. She looked like a little princess sitting in the white wicker chair and holding her bouquet of pastel flowers. This girl is always smiling, but when she saw the cake, her eyes began to sparkle, and the biggest grin I’ve ever seen spread across her face. She couldn’t wait to dig in! (And she even shared some with her sister at the end of the session, too.)
I had a blast with these little cuties, and I can’t wait for our next session together.
