This session was a grand finale for the Webber family. After doing newborn photos and a couple milestone shoots throughout his first year, Alex has turned ONE! I can’t believe they’ve already completed their baby plan photography package! What a joy it was to watch Alex transform from a tiny newborn with the sweetest little fingers and toes to a bouncing, giggling toddler who is keeping Mom and Dad ever on the move!
about this sweet family’s session
For his last session (at least for this package), I wanted him to feel comfortable and really show off his adventurous, spirited side. Although it was winter, we found a bright green clearing surrounded by trees. He eagerly grabbed ahold of Mom and Dad’s hands and urged them to explore with him – and of course they were happy to oblige! Who could possibly say no to that charming toothy grin? This little guy had so many smiles to share with us.
We lucked out on the weather! You never know in Texas, but this day couldn’t have been more perfect. We didn’t even need coats, and Alex was comfortable in his cute plaid shirt. The sun provided a soft warm glow that gave these photos a nostalgic feel. I especially love the photo of Alex sitting atop a little wooden crate with his boots and cowboy hat on – handsomest cowboy I ever did see! And of course, his parents had to show off some Baylor Bear pride by adding in a green BU baseball cap. He wasn’t sure what to think of it at first, and his contemplative and playful expressions were priceless! When he got a little sidetracked, we pulled out the bubbles, which are always a surefire way to get a few extra smiles into the session.
I had so much fun capturing the first year stages of this happy little guy throughout the year. He is an absolute hoot to be around. I can’t wait to hear about the many adventures of Alex as he continues to grow and fill the world with his own unique kind of joy. Happy birthday, little man!
